Welcome

Welcome to the island on the web, home of a creative process unfolding, rants and raves written purely for the entertainment of the author, and the musings of a select few invited to share the fun.

You have landed

Welcome to you, the weary traveler come from some unseen distant shore to gaze upon the works of a fellow wanderer. This, upon which you rest your glossy orbs, is the Island On The Web. Truly a spectacle of unmatched banality and a true expression of the afore mentioned “wanderer's” narcissistic nature and sense of self deprecating humor... of which this text is an example. Once, many moons ago, this was a site exclusively for horrid free verse prose dealing with relationship death or other deep thoughts regarding self discovery and introspection bordering on blindness from the perspective of a child mind as often such poetry is derived. Later it became a haven for all things artistic and acting as both a personal gallery and a reading room for yours truly. Eventually, a blog was added and the soap box known to one and all as “The Island Journal” came magically into existence. With some sections gone, others changed, and the entire thing paired down to it's current form, the site is now more a spring board, if you will, to my other creative endeavors, linking together other sites at which I am hosting my work and my play. You'll find info on me here, links to my work, web-log, and MyBookFaceSpace anti-social alienation page. I will one day fill sections with interests, maybe reinstate the gallery and perhaps I'll bring back the poetry section but for now... enjoy the colorful fruits of my lazy labors.

Some of my work

One of these days I'll bring back my full gallery but until I get around to that... here are some examples of my work and a link to my deviant art site..

Snopes... for those times you hear an unbelievable story about something crazy happening to your friend's cousin's sister-in-law. It probably didn't happen.
